MINERAL RICH SALTED HOT CHOCOLATE

(GF, RSF, DF, Low Acid Healing)

This drink is an easy and delicious way to replenish minerals. This is a great drink to include in the evening after dinner.

INGREDIENTS: 1 c Nondairy Milk of Choice, 2 Tbls Cacao Powder (provides magnesium, may substitute carob powder for low acid protocols), 1 Tbls Pure Maple Syrup or Raw Honey, 1/4 tsp Sea Salt (provides sodium), 1/2 tsp Vanilla, 1/4 tsp Cream of Tartar (provides potassium)

DIRECTIONS:

  1. In a small saucepan, heat your nondairy milk to warm.

  2. Then stir in the remaining ingredients except the cream of tartar.

  3. Pour into mugs and enjoy!

Recipe Notes: Make sure to use carob for low acid protocols.

ZA’ATAR CHICKEN CASEAR WRAP

(GF, RSF, DF Option, Keto Friendly, High Protein, Low Acid Healing/Maintenance)

Summer is here and if you’re like me, a good wrap is always a must for a quick lunch idea. But I’ve taken the traditional recipe and elevated it to the next level using Za’atar seasoning. It’s the perfect Middle Eastern Flair! This lunch recipe is not only easy to make but also crisp and very tasty! Optional to add Roasted Chickpeas here for an added flair and crunch!
